A few details

Project Description

This project consisted of a few elements of a construction job:

a historical staircase’s renovation according NYC building rules
an entrance hall demolishing, remodeling and new elements installation
two entrance doors renovation

The project was very custom because we had to prepare many missed elements of stairs that were exactly the same like original ones.

How we solved it

Our approach

We used solid red oak wood for treads and risers, and most importantly, our construction skills.

This job was divided in some steps because tenants were living in this building during the whole project of their staircase renovation.

We had to prepare the schedule of renovation of each floor and keep our work on time.

Some elements of stairs had to be manually crafted. Doors were replaced with temporary doors for a renovation job in our shop at Ridgewood, NY.

Overall result is great. All neighborhood noticed this change in the entrance doors.

We received many good feedback.
